There are 4 ways to get to Santa Catalina from Panama city: Helicopter or small aircrafts, Rental car, Private Transportation, Public Transportation.
Helicopter/Small Plane: You’re just one short flight away from paradise. Please contact us for more information and ask about the different charter options available.
Rental Car: You can rent a car from the airport or the city. The driving time to our hotel is approximately 6 hrs.
Private Transportation: Please contact us if you’re not renting a car and you would like to travel to Santa Catalina in the comfort of a private vehicle without the hassle of driving or dealing with public transportation.
Public Transportation: You can take the metro from Tocumen International Airport, change metro in the Station San Miguelito and from there take the metro directly to Albrook Bus Terminal.
From Albrook terminal: take the Panama-Sona bus, once in Sona take the Sona-Santa Catalina bus.
From Albrook Terminal: if you miss the bus Panama-Sona, take the bus Panama-Santiago or Panama-Chiriqui, get off in Santiago, go to the terminal and take a bus to Sona, once you get to Sona take the bus Sona – Santa Catalina.
You can also take a taxi from Santiago or Sona to Santa Catalina to get here faster. Keep in mind that after certain hours there are no buses from Sona to Santa Catalina.
